Ideal Jawa Rotary School, Mysore is located in the heart of the City. Founded in 1968 by Mrs. Sheila F Irani, the school is managed jointly by Rotary Mysore and the Irani Family Trust.

The School comprising classes from Kindergarten to Std VII offers the State Board Syllabus. The aim of the school is to impart quality education at an affordable cost to children from all sections of society.

Ideal Jawa Rotary Primary School (IJRPS), Mysore was established in 1969 by Rotary Club of Mysore in collaboration with M/s Ideal Jawa Pvt. Ltd., From then the school is a self financing one (Unaided) with the late PHF Mrs. Sheila F Irani being the Founder Principal and Hon. Secretary up to 2003. The onus of running the school (the Management) lies with the Governing Council (GC) of 'Ideal Jawa Rotary Education Society®' and the administration of the school with the Governing Council appointed 'Managing Committee' (MC) of the School. The school has a current enrolment of around 1500 students in classes from LKG to Std 7. The School campus spreads over an acre in the heart of the city and has a fully equipped Library, Science and Computer Laboratories.

Whilst high academic achievement is a priority, the school aims to create a 'community' of well rounded individuals, where a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect exists among the students and teachers. The school organizes various activities throughout the year where qualities such as leadership and self-discipline are inculcated with an emphasis on the individual's intellectual and emotional growth. The students participate in curricular and co-curricular activities such as Karate, Chess, Yoga, Scrabble, Karadi Path (Language learning), Smart classes, Saturday Movie Club, Etiquette, Remedial instruction (for weak students to perform better) and so on. A number of sports and other activities are held in the school to give the students an opportunity to express their individual talent. Drama, Performing Arts, Arts and Design, Debating and Music, form a significant part of the School curriculum.
