Palace Honda is a part of Balaji Group of Companies with varied interests in Automobile Retail, Garment Retail and Edible Oil industry. The group's foray into business started in the year 1949 by the Patron of the group Mr.P.R. Pallikondan Chettiar who migrated from Tamil Nadu to Mysore in search of greener pastures. Our first foray was into selling Butter & cow feed. With such humble beginnings thus started our group. Later in the year 1954 we started manufacturing Edible Oils under the "STAR"  brand name. A oil refining industry was later started to manufacture Refined Edible Oils.
