Bombay Tiffanys was started in the year 1932 by Sri. Chokelalji Govil. He started the sweet business not as full fledged business. He hailed basically from North India. Came down to south to earn living by selling Jilebis in front of the Mysore Palace.  Sitting under the scorching sun on the footpaths of the palace,  he made his living.
